Hey! We're Alli and Matt Owen. We started our low carb and low sugar journey as a love letter to our friends and family--a commitment to becoming the healthiest versions of ourselves so that we can enjoy more of life's sweetest moments together (minus all that sugar).
Matt has a personal history of cancer and diabetes in his family and Alli has struggled with weight gain, PCOS, and hormonal imbalances. These health challenges inspire us to help others find a path to wellness that works for the long run. We hope our convenient mixes add a spoonful of decadence to your day, and to all the loved ones who make it so special.

This company was born in our small little kitchen with a toddler crawling at my feet and a baby on my hip. From the beginning this was about more than providing a quality product, it was also about helping families on their health journey. We can relate to the overwhelm that health issues can bring, and this is why we are so passionate about supporting others as they heal so they can live whole and free!

Our Mission Meet Ms Ellie Mae. She is the reason and the driving force behind our mission. At age 1, she suffered with terrible allergy symptoms. Being a natural minded mama and becoming more conscious of my family’s health, we rediscovered the amazing power of Elderberry. We started making our own and experimented with different recipes. Little did we know how quickly others would want it. We are so incredibly grateful to be able to share the gift of health and wellness in our community and beyond.

Fresh Start Lex
We want to introduce you to our unique barbecue sauces. The sauces are the original recipes that I developed when I was 18 years old in my mom’s kitchen. I used the sauces in my restaurants for many years, which allowed me to connect with many followers that love my sauce.
My company is 100% minority-owned and registered with the Kentucky proud program. The distributors for my sauce are also minority-owned and located in Louisville, Kentucky, capable of producing all the sauces that I need to ship.
I have four flavors of sauce: regular sauce, sugary-free sauce, hot sauce, and wing sauce. My sauces are gluten-free, no msg, and no high fructose corn syrup. I look forward to shipping my sauces to you nationally.
