Chocolate and the Chip
Hi there, I'm Lola, baker and founder of Chocolate and the Chip. Chocolate chip cookies have been a long-time passion of mine and I'm over the moon to get to share my cookies with so many people. 2020 was such a difficult year for so many and I'm grateful to get to bring comfort in this time of need. We have my sweet tooth to thank for creating Chocolate and the Chip. I've been perfecting this recipe over the last eight years until it was finally ready for showtime. You'll find that they're soft and chewy, perfectly balancing sweet with just a little bit of savory. I wanted to create a cookie that stops you in your tracks to embrace every single bite and I believe these cookies do just that. I finally took the plunge to start my business after a visit to Napoli where I saw so many vendors serving pizzas and other treats through tiny windows on the street. I saw smiles on faces of the people eating as well as the people making the food. When I got back, I wanted to capture that special feeling of... More

Cookie Comfort
Is there anything more comforting than cookies and milk? Founded in 2004, Cookie Comfort was born of the desire to share the tastes and smells of my childhood with my children. From that desire, the dream of sharing these homemade bites from the past was made. At Cookie Comfort, we bake a little nostalgia into every bite. Each memorable cookie is a ticket to simpler times, and summers on the front porch. Our selection of cookies and bakes, ranging from chocolate chip and oatmeal cranberry to hamentashen and babka doughnuts, and comfort eats from brownies to cinnamon buns and chocolate babka, will satisfy any craving any time of the year. Baked fresh to order, Cookie Comfort is the place to turn for old and new classic cookies. All of our products are dairy-free.  Some products are vegan.  And all are baked with strictly Kosher ingredients.   ~ Amy

Decadence Gourmet
If anyone had told me that I would be baking 'Cheesecakes in a Jar®' for a living back in the 70's, 80's or 90's, I would have thought that they might have had one or two drinks too many! Growing up in New Jersey, to be specific, on 'Da Shore', I always had a thing for food. Some of my first real jobs on the Atlantic City Boardwalk involved food; making pizzas on The Steel Pier, bussing at the old Marlborough Blenheim Hotel, cooking steaks and eggs in the window at The Ranch House Restaurant and making silver dollar pancakes in the window at Nash's Beef and Beer. My dad, L. Edison (Ed) Mathis tried to introduce me to fine foods by taking me to some truly fine restaurants and clubs; including The Vesper Club in Philadelphia, Top of the Sixes in New York City, Strotbeck's and Guishard's in Atlantic City and even to L' Ermitage out in Los Angeles, but I was more of a 'normal' food kind of guy! There was a place in Atlantic City, Shumsky's, that produced some absolutely fabulous cheesecakes and that is... More
